Advent Activity List 2009

Last year one of the blogs that I follow created a Advent Activity List, each day leading to Christmas they would do a special activity, when she posted it again this year it reminded me that it was something that I wanted to do with Joshua (and Abigail for photo purposes).

I have written each activity and placed them in a numbered envelope so every day Joshua and I open and envelope and read what activity we get to do together.

Dec. 7. Build and decorate a gingerbreat house
Dec. 8. Make a Star for the mini tree
Dec. 9. Listen to some Christmas music
Dec. 10. Buy a new ornament from the tree
Dec. 11. Donate a bag of food to the local church
Dec. 12. Build a snowman
Dec. 13. Have pankcakes for breakfast
Dec. 14. Hang Christmas lights on the ourside tree
Dec. 15. Help mom wrap a Christmas present
Dec. 16. Colour a Christmas Picture
Dec. 17. Go to a Christmas party
Dec. 18. Make snow angels
Dec. 19. Watch a Christmas movie
Dec. 20. Go for a sleigh ride
Dec. 21. Take a family picture in front of the tree
Dec. 22. Read a Christmas Story
Dec. 23. Bake cookies for Santa
